I used to think that e-commerce was quite “far removed” from my major, focusing more on technology and digital marketing than economics. However, after taking the e-commerce class taught by Professor My, I’ve changed my perspective on applying economic knowledge to digital technology and vice versa.

For him, theory alone is not enough; practice is essential, and many factors are needed for effective practice. He once told me, “Just do it, do it to the best of your ability. I will review and comment, correcting any mistakes – don’t be afraid to make mistakes. The more mistakes you make, the more you learn. Mistakes help you improve.” I felt his trust and encouragement for progress, and I considered this a “shield” throughout my studies with him. This “shield” helped me feel secure and complete my assignments to the best of my ability.
What particularly impressed me about him was his ability to uncover the untapped potential within each student. He always patiently guided us through assignments, step-by-step providing solutions and direction. Professor My doesn’t follow any conventional path; he teaches with heart, knowledge, and experience. His enthusiasm in the classroom is a testament to his dedication and a source of inspiration for me and other students he has taught.
